[email protected]David brings both a professional football playing career and his qualifications and experience in human movement, mechanics, health, fitness and wellbeing both national and international to the team. Recently undertaken a Diploma in Health, Safety and Wellbeing. He has represented NZ in the All Whites, NZ age group teams, as well as a professional career with the likes of Newcastle United, Darlington FC and the Football Kingz.

[email protected]BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science as well as strength & conditioning accreditations through the UKSCA and the NSCA. He brings knowledge and experience in physical performance development in youth, disability and professional sport. He is currently undertaking a Master's degree through research in to athletic performance and injury prevention methods in football.
Nick Chong

[email protected]Nick holds a BHSc majoring in Exercise Science from Massey University, ASCA (Australian Strength & Conditioning Association) accreditation and is currently undertaking Masters study. He is an age group hockey representative. Nick holds a range of strength and conditioning and injury rehabilitation experience including a His previous role as a Physical Trainer and Rehabilitation Specialist with the NZ Defence Force ensure.
Blair Minton

[email protected]Blair received numerous academic awards across his studies in Bachelor of Sport and Recreation, minoring in Management. He holds a B Licence coaching accreditation, Youth Level 3, and Junior Level 3 coaching accreditations, plus a FIFA Medical diploma. Blair specialises in fundamental movements and sport pedagogy with previous experience working with Gymnastics NZ.

Wide ranging experience from high performance programme management and athlete development to strength and conditioning and community sport delivery. Worked and played across several sporting codes and is still playing and coaching today.
Rachel McCann

[email protected]Bachelor of Arts majoring in English, Diploma in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing, and Graduate Certificate in Sports Coaching. Since 2015, Rachel has been an international hockey player, playing for the New Zealand women's Blacksticks. Accumulated 68 caps, scored 15 international goals, and represented in junior age group teams, (U16, 18 & 21). Creator of 'The Happy Athlete' podcast which discusses wellbeing and performance with a number of successful athletes.
David Mulligan

[email protected]Represented NZ in football with 31 caps, a FIFA World Cup, and a Youth World Cup. 10-year international playing career in teams such as Barnsley FC, then Wellington Phoenix in NZ. Accredited coach holding a NZF B Licence. David has coached within NZF National Talent Centres and held a Men's Head Coach and Senior Development Manager role at Forrest Hill Milford FC.
Shane Carvell

[email protected]Working in football in NZ for over 12 years (Football South and New Zealand Football), Shane was awarded a local club life membership in 2004, demonstrating his dedication to community football. Shane is currently undertaking papers in Sports Performance Nutrition and Psychology of Physical Activity at Otago University. He holds a C Licence, Youth Level 3 Licence, and in the last stages of completing B Licence. An NZF qualified coach educator.
Louise Trappitt

[email protected]Bachelor of Physical Education majoring in Exercise Prescription and Management, Post-Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine. Beginning her Masters in Female Sports Concussion. Represented NZ at the World Rowing Champs (2011& 2014) and finished 7th at the Olympic Games (2012). Awarded rowing Coach of Year with the Wellington Rowing Association. Specialising in nutrition, exercise science and concussion.
