New Zealand Football’s Working with Children Policy has been developed to protect the interests of its members and be responsible for their safety and wellbeing. A key objective is to provide an environment that is safe for members, free from harassment and abuse for everyone and promotes respectful and positive behaviour and values.

New Zealand Football Policy Regarding Working with Children is specifically set out to protect and safeguard children from harm and put in place clear and appropriate procedures for reporting inappropriate behaviour. The New Zealand Football Executive Committee has adopted this policy, bringing it into force on February 16, 2017.

New Zealand Football is committed to the safety and well-being of all children and will act to ensure that a safe environment is maintained for all children within its responsibility. Let’s all work to apply a child-centred approach, where all children are treated equally and with dignity.
