Jack has been deep in the sports betting world for over seven years, with a particular focus on the New Zealand market. He's the one who leads our sportsbook evaluations — depositing real money, placing real bets, and timing real withdrawals across every platform we review.

Before joining Kiwi Bet, Jack spent four years writing for international iGaming publications, covering everything from regulatory developments in Oceania to in-depth sportsbook breakdowns. He holds a degree in Sports Science from Victoria University of Wellington, which he says mostly taught him that All Blacks stats are more fun to analyse than textbook biomechanics.

Jack's testing methodology is hands-on and thorough. He doesn't just browse a site and write about it — he opens an account, makes deposits using multiple payment methods, places dozens of bets across different sports and market types, then withdraws and tracks how long it takes to get paid. Sophie brings the numbers side to Kiwi Bet. With over five years of experience in iGaming analytics, she's the one who digs into the maths behind bonus offers, compares odds across multiple bookmakers, and tests every payment method we can get our hands on to see which ones actually work well for NZ punters.

Sophie studied Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Auckland before moving into the iGaming industry. She started out building odds comparison models for an Asian-market affiliate network, then shifted her focus to the Australasian market. Her knack for spotting misleading bonus terms and unfair wagering requirements has saved our readers a lot of frustration (and money).

When she's not crunching odds or dissecting T&Cs, Sophie leads our payment method testing. She's deposited and withdrawn using every method available to Kiwi players — from POLi and bank transfer to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a dozen e-wallets — tracking fees, processing times, and any issues along the way.
